With very little effort, QlikView can connect data sources, such as Microsoft Excel, if they comply with standards such as ODBC (open database connectivity) and XML (extensible markup language). Developers can also utilise the open QVX (QlikView data exchange) format for importing non-standardised data sources into QlikView. QlikView provides direct connectors for the most popular business applications and platforms.

QlikView Connector for SAP Netweaver

In order to significantly accelerate their decision-making processes, many companies use QlikView, with its immediate and user-friendly analyses, to round out their central SAP reporting options.

The QlikView Connector for SAP NetWeaver® makes it possible for the SAP user to obtain rapid, flexible, visually attractive, ad hoc analysis and reporting. QlikView combines data from SAP® R/3®, mySAPTM, SAP BW, and BEX queries with data from non-SAP systems and makes it available to the user with one single click.

QlikView also offers out-of-the-box QlikStart templates for a number of SAP modules, such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Project Systems (PS), Production Planning (PP), Human Resources (HR), Controlling (CO), and Finance (Account Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)).

QlikView Connector for Salesforce.com

The QlikView Connector for Salesforce.com® enables developers to make QlikView apps which utilise Salesforce.com data and to combine these with data from other systems. This connector works on the desktop or on apps on the QlikView Server and is accessible via the browser, including on mobile devices. This QlikView connector for Salesforce.com is available as a free QlikView add-on.

QlikView Informatica Connector

Many companies use a data warehouse to fulfil compliance and governance requirements. To increase the value of a data warehouse and, at the same time, to be able to satisfy the demand for rapid and high-performance reporting, these businesses use the QlikView Informatica® Connector to generate and directly load QVX files in QlikView. This eliminates the need for a reporting data mart.
